Abstract

|
Acute myelogenous leukemia is a rare late complication of chemotherapy and/or
radiotherapy. Recently, we have experienced a case who was treated for small cell lung
cancer with combination chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy, and
subsequently
developed acute myelocytic leukemia.
Sixty-two year old male patient, who was diagnosed as small cell lung cancer limited
stage received alternative CAV(Cyclophophamide, Doxorubicin, Vincristine)
&
PE(Cisplatin, Etoposide) combination chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy(4,500rad)
and achieved complete remission. Twelve months later, acute myelogenous leukemia(Ml)
developed and relapsed small cell carcinoma in the liver.
